Welcome to all families and staff, those who are part of our Albany community and those who are considering joining us! In Albany, we are fully committed to “Doing something BIG in a special little place.” Together, our staff works hard to support every student in academics, the arts, and athletics.
We focus on preparing students to live our core values of Citizenship, Achievement, Respect, and Excellence (C.A.R.E.). These values are not just words on a poster — they are qualities we want every Comet to demonstrate both inside and outside of school. Whether it’s a student helping a classmate, striving for a personal best in the classroom or on the playing field, showing respect to peers and adults, or taking pride in a project done with excellence, C.A.R.E. is at the heart of who we are as a district.
Our goal is to develop well-rounded young people who are prepared for success in school, in their careers, and in life. This work takes all of us — students, staff, families, and community members — working together to create a culture where everyone can thrive.
