The Albany boys basketball game scheduled for tonight at Black Hawk HS has been postponed. (Tuesday, January 21st) The make-up date will be on Saturday, February 15th with a JV start time of 1:00pm and varsity at 2:15pm.

The Albany-Monticello GBB games for tonight vs. Juda HS have been postponed due to weather. The JV/Varsity games will be made-up on Saturday, February 1st with the JV game starting at 4:30pm & Varsity at 5:45pm. Please share this information with others.

Happy FRYday! Second grade students practiced writing persuasive letters this week. Some tried to persuade staff that we should have french fries every day for lunch. While everyday fries is not an option, a special french fry snack was a fun way to end the week.

The Albany 5th grade students spent the month of December writing & illustrating their own children's holiday picture books. Before winter break the 5th graders traveled to elementary classrooms to share their holiday stories with younger students. Great job to all the 5th graders for their hard work and amazing stories!





Albany & Monticello HS Girls Basketball Alumni Night
The Albany-Monticello HS girls basketball team would like to invite all Albany & Monticello HS graduates that played girls basketball for the “Lady Comets, Ponies, or Space Stallions” to alumni recognition night on Saturday, January 11th, 2025. The JV game will start at 5:00pm and alumni recognition will take place between the JV & Varsity games. (Approximately 5:45pm) We ask that all alumni arrive by 5:45pm to ensure being present for recognition. Upon arriving at Albany HS for the game there will be a sign-in for alumni at the door where you will be asked your name, school graduation year, & place that you graduated from. (Albany or Monticello)
