Future COMET basketball players hit the hardwood today for the first day of girls & boys youth basketball camp. This is a four day camp for girls & boys entering grades 3-8 next school year. The focus of day #1 was fundamentals of dribbling, passing, & shooting while a lot of fun was had!

Albany boys basketball & Albany-Monticello girls basketball teams will be well represented this Friday, June 20th in the Six Rivers All-Star Basketball Games at Albany HS.
Kaden Zurfluh, Nate Stokstad, Abby Hollis, Anna Ellinger, & Dalana Trumpy will be representing both programs.

Third through eighth grade students have been enjoying their time with Coach Brewer and Coach Johnson at Track & Field Camp this week.

After a scenic drive to Johnson Creek, the WIAA regional for today was rained out & postponed until tomorrow. (Wednesday, June 4th) Game time for the game will be 5:00pm. Get out and support the team as they try to advance to a regional championship.

The Albany athletic department & Albany Sports Boosters presented Caleb Smith with a basket full of his favorite goodies today for his trip to the WIAA State Track & Field meet later this week! Caleb will compete in the shot put competition on Friday afternoon. Good luck Caleb, enjoy the well deserved journey at state!

Basketball Camp has started! Coach Olsen and Coach Soderberg worked with 30+ K-2 boys and girls on their basketball skills. Building the future Comet stars! Go Comets!



Our 22 middle schoolers have returned from an amazing trip to Washington DC. There were so many memories made and relationships built during this 4-day adventure! Over 20 historical museums, memorials, tours, and cemeteries provided learning opportunities for these kids!










19 Middle School students started the Comet Elite strength and conditioning program this morning. Choosing to do what it takes to improve is the Comet Way! Go Comets!



Caleb Smith is STATE BOUND! Caleb finished in 4th place in the shot put competition at the Bangor WIAA Sectional to earn his trip to UW LaCrosse next week. Caleb will participate in the WIAA State Track & Field Championships on Friday, June 6th at UW LaCrosse in the afternoon on Friday. Congratulations Caleb!


Our Middle School students are having a blast in Washington DC! The US Capitol building and the Washington Monument were some of the highlights.










The Albany Comets track & field team will be well represented in WIAA sectional competition on Friday, May 30th @ Bangor HS. The following team members have advanced to sectional competition:

Congratulations to the Monticello-Albany baseball team on their WIAA regional win tonight over Benton-Shullsburg. With the opening round victory, Monticello-Albany advances to 2nd round competition at Johnson Creek on Tuesday, June 3rd!


The Middle Schoolers had a great time at their end of the year field trip to Urban Air!











After Urban Air, the Middle Schoolers stopped at the Madison zoo for a quick exploration and some field games at the park!
