"The Wilderness Lit. students participated in the Sugar River Cleanup last week! They paddled from Attica to Albany, picked up trash, and cleared fallen trees from the river in preparation for the capstone trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Minnesota. The Albany School District gives back to the community and creates exciting learning opportunities!"

The Kindergarten classes had a great time at Old World Wisconsin even if it was a long bus ride! It was so fun to see the kids making connections between what we had learned previously about Colonial Towns and Townspeople through our Knowledge Unit and what they were seeing at Old World Wisconsin.

Socrates said "education is the kindling of a flame," and these middle school students are burning bright! Our brilliant students in Ancient History took the opportunity to dive deeper into themes of Ancient Greece after completing our unit. From detailed dioramas of Greek mythology to home crafted Greek themed board games, from DIY Greek armor to model Trojan Horses--these students got very creative!
