NEW STAFF MEMBER! 🤩🤩
Meet Holie Vance, our new K-12 Art teacher. Holie is so excited to be part of the Albany School District and community! This is her 8th year as an Art teacher. She earned her BA in Art with a Theatre Minor in 2010 and earned her teaching degree in 2012. Holie loves being creative! Colored pencils are her favorite medium, and she also likes painting, mixed media, ceramics, and sculpture. Holie plays the clarinet and has directed multiple productions. She looks forward to working with the students, staff, and families in Albany and getting to know each of you!
Holie has 3 children: A 15-year-old daughter, 8-year-old son, and a 3-month-old daughter. She loves spending time with her family and finding little adventures to enjoy together with them. Holie enjoys bicycling, kayaking, swimming, cooking out, and spending time outside….most of the year (she is not a huge fan of winter but loves Wisconsin)...Go Packers!
This school year, Holie would like to share her passion in Art with the school and community. She would like to host Paint Nights and Art Clubs for ALL! Holie is always willing to roll her sleeves up and join in!
Please give Ms. Vance a warm #ASDComets welcome!
