
The students have been hard at work to create a wonderful Veterans Day program. The program is tomorrow, Nov. 10th, starting at 10AM in the high school gym. We ask any Veterans participating to arrive around 9:40. Anyone from the community is invited to attend! See you soon!

Lilly Clason and Alana Durtschi each won individual awards at the UW Platteville Math Meet. Lilly placed 1st among all division 4 freshmen and sophomores, and Alana tied for 3rd place among all division 4 juniors and seniors (roughly 100 people in each level). Congratulations!

The official results are in from the UW Platteville Math Meet!
The Albany math team tied for 3rd place out of 14 different teams competing with a score of 250 points (the first and second place teams tied with a score of 270 points each).


Congratulations to Scott Keepers on receiving one of seven state awards for distinguished service last night at the WADA Convention. Scott was recognized for the time and effort he puts in to allow Albany athletes opportunities in running. The WADA Service Award was presented at the Kalahari Convention Center. Scott was joined by family and friends from the Albany community. Congratulations Scott!

Art, FACS, and Spanish classes collaborated this week on a Day of the Dead craft for some of our younger students! Spanish students taught about what Day of the Dead is, and then helped art students make sugar skulls. FACS students whipped up the icing used for decorating!

Mrs. Gentilli's 4th graders are working hard on ratio charts in math. What a great learning tool!


A HUGE "THANK YOU" to the Green County Fall Nationals (Joanna Hawthorn ) for the AED donation to the Albany School District. This AED will be placed outside the High School gym.

Albany's National Honor Society would like to give a big thank you to the Culver's in New Glarus for allowing us to fundraise there last night. We had such an awesome turn out! Thank you to the Albany community for all of your support!!!

Foods students were treated to a special presentation by Chef Hakim from Blackhawk Technical College. He shared information about the culinary programs and made a delicious stir fry for students.
