Albany's National Honor Society would like to give a big thank you to all those who came out the blood drive and donated to the Red Cross! As you can see, there was a great turn out!

Third graders in Mrs. Freitag’s room have been doing a Pilgrim simulation the past week. In this simulation, the students must try to do better than the Pilgrims did in their first year in the New World. They battle the harsh seas on the voyage over, starvation and disease, fear of the unknown, and great loss. In the end, they survived with half of the people who started the voyage with the help of Samoset and Squanto. They celebrated surviving that first year with the first Thanksgiving.

The Kindergarten students enjoyed a Friendsgiving Feast today!

2nd graders experimented with magnets.

In Enrichment WIN we are learning about board games and playing a few classics to get ideas for our own board game creations when we come back from Thanksgiving vacation.
