Our 6-12 Tech-Ed students have an exciting new resource to enhance their learning! This fall, the Albany School District applied for a Fab Lab grant through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) to support technology upgrades in our program. We are thrilled to announce that our application was approved earlier this month! Thanks to this grant, we recently received a large-format printer, enabling students to produce stickers, banners, and posters on materials up to 54 inches wide. This upgrade offers hands-on experience, allowing students to develop essential design and production skills. Staff and students collaborated to design stickers to promote our 4K Open House earlier this week. In the coming weeks, students will be actively learning Adobe Illustrator and Versaworks to create high-quality printable designs to promote our school and community! Stay tuned for more updates as our students explore the full potential of this exciting new technology!
