
The Albany-Monticello "Space Stallions" are 2025 Six Rivers East Conference Champions for girls basketball. To celebrate this achievement, championship apparel is being offered online for purchase until 9:00am on Monday, February 24th. This is a firm deadline to ensure that apparel is back in time for the WIAA playoffs. Ordered apparel will be delivered to Albany HS & Monticello HS by 3:30pm on Thursday, February 27th. Due to injuries and small numbers the JV girls basketball game tomorrow night @ Juda will only be (1) ONE half of basketball. (Thursday, February 20th) The game will start at 6:00pm. Due to this shortened game, the varsity game will start around 6:30-6:45pm. Please spread the word about the early start time for the varsity game.
Also, Juda HS will be having a BAKED GOODS FUNDRAISER "GOING BLUE FOR MR. GUSTAFSON" where all raised money will help the Gustafson Family with their medical battle.
Lastly, following tomorrow night's varsity game, the bus will come back to Albany HS where there will be a "CUTTING OF THE NET" ceremony and pictures to celebrate this year's Six Rivers East Conference Championship.


We look forward to seeing students and families at our Open House this Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00!

The Albany-Monticello girls basketball program has picked up a non-conference game on Tuesday, February 18th at River Valley HS. (Spring Green, WI) This will be a JV & varsity game with the JV starting at 5:30pm and the varsity following at 6:45pm.

The Albany-Monticello GBB games scheduled for tonight at Shullsburg WILL be played with an updated schedule. The JV game will start at 5:30pm and will be a modified/shortened game. The varsity tip time will be at 6:30/6:45pm or as soon as the JV game is completed.



2nd graders measured with 1,000 clips to see how far the chain would reach. We didn't have quite enough to get back to our classroom from the end of the hallway.


Come help support the Albany Drama Department by dining at the Culver's in New Glarus on Wednesday February 26 from 4 to 7 PM. Ten percent of the sales will be donated to the department as we prepare to expand the drama program in the coming years!


Due to the pending snowstorm, the Albany School District will be closed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

Ms. Grossman came into Ancient History class today to talk about her study abroad experience in China. She taught the students about Chinese language and writing! We had some fun trying to learn Chinese tongue twisters!

Students in Ancient History just began their unit on Ancient China. We started by taking a look at Lunar New Year traditions in China and around the world. Students were able to make different Lunar New Year crafts (2025 is the Year of the Snake) or research the different traditions.


Tonight's Albany-Monticello vs. Argyle-Pecatonica girls basketball game will be played at Monticello HS. The JV game starts at 6:00pm and varsity will follow. Admission doors to enter Monticello HS won't open until 5:15pm.
The varsity game will be covered on the radio or streaming app by 93.7 WEKZ FM.


The Albany School District is on a 2-hour delayed start (2.6.25). Classes will begin at 9:50AM.
