Albany HS Head Boys Basketball Coaching Position
The School District of Albany is seeking a Head HS Boys Basketball Coach for the 2025-2026 season. Albany HS competes in the Six Rivers Conference and this position would be to lead the boys basketball program positively through leadership, teaching, & guidance. The coach will teach knowledge and execution of basic fundamentals and techniques of each position as well as team play and prepare a team physically, mentally and emotionally to effectively compete to the best of their abilities. Coaches need to be available for the entire WIAA season and are paid an extra-curricular stipend for coaching. The due date for interested applicants to apply is Monday, March 31st, 2025.
Approximate Length of Season ~ November 17th, 2025 - March 14th, 2026

The WIAA 3-Point Challenge for girls basketball wil take place on Saturday, March 15th at the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI. Based on shooting statistics from the regular season, Abby Hollis has qualified as one of the ten shooters for this competition. The contest will start at 9:30am on Saturday. Based on a random draw, Abby will be the 9th shooter in the competition to compete. Congratulations and good luck Abby!

Youth Apprenticeship Information Meeting: Wednesday March 12th @ 7PM
Attention Families of Incoming Juniors and Seniors:
There will be an information meeting held for students and families of the incoming Junior and Senior Class regarding the Youth Apprenticeship Program. This meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 12th at 7 PM in the commons. It is a requirement for students to attend with a consenting adult in order to be considered for the program next year. Light snacks will be provided.

The WIAA has moved tonight's girls basketball sectional game back 30 minutes to accommodate a scheduling conflict with boys basketball tournament play. Thus, tonight's Albany-Monticello sectional final will start at 7:30pm instead of 7:00pm. Warm-ups will begin at 7:10pm. Please spread the message and share the information provided. Everything else is still the same @ Beaver Dam HS. The only thing that has changed is the start time of the game.

The Albany-Monticello "Space Stallions" have advanced to the WIAA Sectional Final for girls basketball! The sectional final will be played at Beaver Dam HS on Saturday, March 8th at 7:00pm. Doors to enter will open at 6:00pm. Admissions options will be via cash at the door or GO FAN via device.


The Albany-Monticello girls basketball sectional semi-final game tonight vs. Madison Country Day will now be livestreamed! Game time is 7pm at Clinton High School.
