
Fifth graders traveled to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Discovery Building and participated in some awesome science, hands-on experiences. They learned just how small small is and a bit about stem cells and attempted to create new cells.

The Albany School District would like to congratulate Albany senior Myah Johnson on her recent softball commitment signing to Loras College in Iowa. Myah is a four-year starting catcher for the Juda-Albany HS softball team. Myah signed her commitment on April 22nd following a home game vs. Argyle-Black Hawk. Congratulations Myah and good luck with your future softball endeavors!



The Monticello-Albany HS baseball game that was scheduled to be played at South Wayne Community Park has been moved to Argyle HS due to poor field conditions in South Wayne. Please spread the word to all baseball players and families.

Seven Juniors from Albany recently participated in Green County Government Day. Students throughout the county, learned about county government and met some of the personnel. Thanks to the American Legion and the Green County Veterans Service Office for sponsoring this event.

The Juda-Albany softball game scheduled for today (Thursday) has been postponed. The game will be made up Friday, May 3rd at 5:45pm at Potosi HS. (No JV innings following)

CONGRATULATIONS to Albany Senior Jayden Anderson on signing a commitment to join Kuhn Mfg. after graduation. Jayden leveraged his experience in the Youth Apprenticeship Program to start his future now!

Parkview-Albany HS Football Asst. Coaching Position
The School District of Albany is seeking an assistant coach for HS football for the 2024 season. Albany HS coops with Parkview HS for football & this position would be an assistant coaching position hired by Albany and is expected to be a liason for Albany HS within the coop. The coach will teach knowledge and execution of basic fundamentals and techniques of each position as well as team play and prepare a team physically, mentally and emotionally to effectively compete to the best of their abilities.
Coaches need to be available for the entire WIAA season and are paid an extra-curricular stipend for coaching. The due date for interested applicants to apply is Friday, May 31st, 2024.
Approximate Length of Season ~ August 6th - October 18th
Interested applicants should include a letter of interest and resume to Derik Doescher (AD) via email.
