Visitors to the Albany Public School must enter the building at the main entrance off of Vinton Street. Between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, visitors must “buzz in” by pressing an outside buzzer which alerts the office of their presence. Security cameras show the office that a person is at the door. After entering the building, visitors who are not registered students or district employees will be required to stop in the District Office where they will log in and receive a visitor’s badge. This includes parents who need to drop off items, guest speakers, servicemen, social workers, etc. This process provides a safer learning environment for our students and staff.
