Good luck to the Rock County Fury High School Girls Co-op as they take on the reigning state champs, Central Wisconsin Storm, on their ice Friday, November 17! This game marks the first WIAA girls hockey game that Albany High School students will represent! From Albany are Haley and Alyssa. Good luck, Haley and Alyssa!

Attn Junior Bowlers:  Albany Lanes will start Grades 7-12 will be TONIGHT at 3:30pm.  Cost is $5.00 to join and $7.00 to bowl.  Call Dave at 862-3131 for more info.  Let's go bowling!

There will be a Math Team meeting TODAY during FLEX.

Tonight's home HS GBB game vs. Belleville will be White Out night.

Reminder to all FFA members:  Fruit Sale slips are due NEXT Monday, November 20th. 

Attention band and choir students who fundraised with Cherrydale: Pick-up is this Tuesday, November 21st, 2:30-4:00pm in the HS gym lobby. Students are responsible for picking up and distributing their items. 

Congratulations to the following students who were winners in this week's high school pats drawing-Alycia O, Hunter G, and Cecilia L. See Ms. Schroeder for your prize.

Learn safe snowmobiling - enroll in a Wisconsin DNR snowmobile safety education class taught by a certified instructor at the Juda Community Center Nov. 29th 7:00-9:00pm and December 2nd 9:00am-4:00pm.  Call Pete Goepfert at 608-293-3457 to sign up.

The FFA Food Drive is going on now!  In each classroom, there is a box to collect non-perishable food items. They will be weighed and the class with the most from high school, middle school and elementary will get a pizza party.

Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Snack with Santa that will be held on Saturday, December 2nd from 10:00 to 1:00 at the Albany Lions Club.  If you are interested in helping with children's games, face painting, serving in the food stand, or working in Santa's shop, please contact Kara at the Albertson Memorial Library.  Remember you can use this for community service hours!

HS Students and Staff:  Salvation Army is looking for bell ringers from Black Friday to new Years Eve. Shopko, Pic n Save & Wal-Mart are the locations in Monroe. Week days would be 3-9pm & Saturdays would be 9-8pm & Sundays 12-8pm. 2 hour slots are available. Volunteers would man the kettle & ring the bell for the 2 hours. All the money comes back into Green County & helps so many people with needs through the voucher program, disaster relief, meals on wheels, schools & so many other programs. Also, Salvation army is one of the few organizations where 100% of all your money donated towards disaster relief goes toward disaster relief. Salvation Army is a great organization to volunteer.
